Hobo-ing It

The Brother and I biked to the closest Bridge and spent half a day there. Exploring the Creek, running through the rain to save the Bikes. Camping under the Bridge to wait out the rain. Doing handstands on the bottom of the Bridge. Sipping tea from a thermos and nibbling on hunks of bread. Biking home through the rain. In short, we plan to go back.

Home Again

Once again I am in the fresh air and wide open spaces of rural America, and I can't help but think as I look around this countryside that, this, this right here, is what America is. A small town surounded by thousands of acres of farmland, green as far as the eye can see and a blue sky with nothing choking it out.

We're Waking Up.

Up early to shower and get to the airport. I'll be Stateside in about 19 hours.

The Final Hurrah

We went back downtown today, but we drove the Mercedes instead of taking the Metro. We walked around the WW1 - WW2 Memorial, drove by Independence Square and then swung by the grocery store with the groovy music (a Billa) to pick up supper. Sha- something or other. It'll come to me later.

Lunch at McD's

They've got it here too.

I can't get the photo's to rotate the right way, sorry.

Lunch

Today we tried some interesting things for lunch. Pickled fish, crab flavored patato chips and pashtet (a type of liver spread).
